What a cold, windy and wet experience we had in Iceland this time. This was July!
Eleanor did love the cuddly polar bears here, but not the real stuffed one in a jewellers shop.
See the weather got colder.. and colder and colder... Linda and Eleanor took a trip to the amazing Blue Lagoon, thermal spa. It is usllay incredibly hot and relaxing, but we fought aginst the sleet and wind and desperately searched for hot spots. The run to the changing rooms was very quick indeed!

leanor and Tom when she was a little girl. The tiny boat they were photographed in has gone, but they just had to repeat the shot!Look at that - would you believe the there were crocheted and knitted tree coseys?
Finally the sun came out as we travelled back to the airport.Happily on our way to America - well Linda does not do happy and flying, but we got there!
